If you would consider leaving a review, I would hugely appreciate it — it’s exciting for me to hear what you think, and also helps other families to find the series.
Thank you SO much for your support and your enthusiasm about the new release! I hope you thoroughly enjoy the story! ๐
S.D.G.!
I am so so so so so excited to read this!!!! This is my favorite series, and you are my favorite author!!! You put such work in your book, and I can feel the emotion of the characters!! I am so so so so excited to read this and I’m going to ask my friends to get this for the church library!!!
Also P.S. please don’t ever kill of Jigson.. or Phil… I don’t cry in books or movies, but I almost cried the first time I read that Jigson ‘died’ when he was really in the agency’s custody hehe. Jigson needs to be alive until he’s an old man!!
Aww, thank you Anneka! That is *such* an amazing thing for you to say. Favorite, wow! That can’t quite sink in, but it is a blessing from the Lord for sure for me to hear that. ๐
I’m glad that you enjoy Jigson and Phil! In this book (without giving away too much), I took on board quite a lot of comments from readers saying that Jigson needed a holiday/vacation, or at least nothing TOO intense. ๐
Wahoo!!! This is SOO thrilling… โค โค โค
And same here…I cried so hard in that part of Prisoner of the Pyrenees… and even after that when I read it two or three more times (I've lost count) โค
Congratulations, Caitlyn!!!
Thank you so much!! ๐ โค
Same here!! I nearly cried then too!! (and still feel like it and get tears in my eyes when I read that!)
And I agree please don’t EVER kill Jigson!!
You are one of my favourite authors EVER!!!
Ahh, bless you Stephanie! I really appreciate that! ๐
I finished the book earlier today. It’s the best one i’ve read yet! Thank you for writing, and I will definitely keep reading.
Praise the Lord; I am so glad to hear that! Thank you so much for letting me know! ๐
(And if you happen to be able to leave a review on Amazon, I’d really appreciate that!)

-The Pinkelstein Sisters-
Dear Pinkelstein sisters,
Oh, what a delightful gift your note was! Thank you so much!
It’s a blessing to me to hear that the books have been a blessing to you. ๐
May you know the richness of the Lord’s goodness in new, exciting ways this coming year!
Eph. 3:14-21
Our dear Miss Hedgcock. We greatly enjoyed reading about Phil and Briosa, and if Abby would ever be in a relationship, we think that it would be wonderful if that person would be Rolf!
These are our thoughts:
1-Fergus, as Grandma Baker has noted, is sweet. But so is Abby. Which could make them an unbalanced pair. (Character-wise) Abby is sweet, sensible, and shy at times; Rolf is confident, outgoing, and slightly arrogant. In our opinion, Abby’s and Rolf’s characters compensate each other better.
2-Phil is better friends with Rolf than with Fergus, Alistair, or anyone else for that matter. Same as = Abby is closer friends with Briosa than with Anna, Cassidy, or Emily.
3-Abby is the only girl that understands Rolf, and can handle his outbursts. And Abby is the only girl (or even person!) that Rolf listens to.
4-In our opinion…Rolf and Abby would just make a wonderful pair! ๐
Thank you for your wonderful books!
If any Baker fans are around and want to talk about the latest book…
Do. Because I am kind of going crazy after just finishing it and need to spill all of my opinions somewhere. XD
Thatโs perfectly fine lol!! ๐๐
I absolutely adored it all…I read it when I got it for Christmas, so itโs not Too fresh on my mind, butโ I loved the western feel of the entire story.
I thought it was Way fun to read about the Freyladsโ new experiences in the Western USA…one of my sisters begged me to read it aloud to the rest of my siblings during lunch a few weeks back, and everyone was laughing so hard and getting really wound up in suspense over the continuous hazards which kept popping up…
I loved Philโs struggle ๐ ๐ โค๏ธ
It was so realistically portrayed…and Iโve always enjoyed reading about Briosa (sheโs just so spunky & unpredictable)…those 2 are just some of my fav characters โค๏ธ
