Your Questions Part 4 and Reverse Q&A!

Hello everyone! 🙂

It’s been a while since I did a Q&A post here (sorry about that). Many of you were intrigued by the idea of a reverse Q&A, where I ask you things I’m curious about. So after tackling a few of your questions, I’ll ask you some of my own!

1) Will the Predzels be in any future books?

I’m not sure yet. I haven’t planned to include them, but they may appear in a future story if they could help the main characters.

2) Did Sigurd get Gleym back?

Yes, definitely. 🙂 I love the fact that you remembered to ask about her!

3) Do we know what happened to Jigson’s parents?

Oh, I can’t wait for you to read Hunting in the Highlands! The answer is yes!

4) How much of the Hrein Orka in Iceland Intrigue is based on real science, and how much is fiction?

It’s mainly fiction … but who knows? Maybe there are principles of it that someone has yet to discover 😉

5) What is the significance of ‘Twelve Lemons’?

It’s a phrase with quite a personal meaning for Jigson and Detective Mortimer – otherwise it wouldn’t have guaranteed Jigson’s identity in Iceland Intrigue.

Is it part of a big mystery? Or is it something more innocuous? Will they spill the beans in Book 8? … Maybe!

6) When you wrote Hunting the Highlands did you plan out the whole book before you started writing?

Yes. I did make a careful plan so that the book would progress with logical structure and so I would know where the story was going – it had the potential to be quite confusing with characters splitting up and traipsing all over Scotland.

But the need to be flexible arose when I reached the end and realized that the climax was not right for the story … so a whole new ending had to be written!

Do you have burning questions for a future post? Send them via the contact page!

Now … here are my questions for you! 🙂

1. Who are your top 2 favourite male characters?

2. Who are your top 2 female characters?

3. Who is your favourite villain? (Miss Verton, Lewis Nickel, Bud Larone, Rolf/escaped convicts, Dainn, Herr Klaus, or someone else?)

4. Which is your favourite title in the series, and why?

5. Should one of the characters be in a relationship/courtship? Who and why? (I’m not promising anything by asking this 😉 I’m genuinely curious! 🙂 )

I look forward to finding out what you think! 🙂

  1. 1. Who are your top 2 favourite male characters?
    Jigson and… Andy.
    2. Who are your top 2 female characters?
    Emily and Abby.
    3. Who is your favourite villain? (Miss Verton, Lewis Nickel, Bud Larone, Rolf/escaped convicts, Dainn, Herr Klaus, or someone else?)
    Garth!!!
    4. Which is your favourite title in the series, and why?
I’m not sure… I really like The Treacherous Trail, which I literally just finished. 😀
    5. Should one of the characters be in a relationship/courtship? Who and why?
I’m not sure who, but if you portrayed it in a Biblical fashion, I think it would be good. I have a feeling that it would be rather difficult to do that, though, because I’m sure that different readers have different standards, and writing it in a way as to not offend anyone would be hard (at least for me… but I can see it working as well. 😀 ).
As I said, I just finished The Treacherous Trail, and IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! I was utterly confused for most of it (who is really Jigson? and what is really going on?!?), but I loved it for that very reason! Most of the time it is super easy to figure out mysteries in books, because I’ve read so many, but your mysteries are definitely unique. And GARTH! ❤ ❤ I loved his ending. Thank you sooo much!!! 🙂

  2. Who are your top two male characters: Phil and Rolf. Jigson and Andy are really close though! My friends all wonder why I like Phil so much, but I do! I guess it’s because he’s different and stable.

Who are your top two female characters: Abby and Milly, though Cassidy, and Briosa are soooo close!

Who is your favorite villain: Uh, I don’t know. Probably Rolf, and than Miss Verton. Miss Verton is the all time best villain ever.

Which is your favorite title and why: Iceland Intrigue, because it gets me intrigued. I also like Hunting in the Highlands and The Treacherous Trail.

Should any of the characters be in a courtship? Who and why?
I would be so disappointed if you added romance. However, you could have Abby and Jigson go into a relationship. You’ve made it obvious Abby has feelings for Jigson, though I don’t know if they’re anything like that. JUST DON’T MAKE PHIL be in a relationship. That would ruin the whole thing.

    The questions were such fun!
    ~~Amie~~

    • Like Leah said you can have a relationship with out romance. (I would be pretty disappointed if she added a romance I it to but I’m pretty sure we’re safe from that!!) I agree about Abby and Jigson. They would be an interesting but sweet couple.

  3. Oh I’m so glad you asked those questions!

Favorite Male Characters: Phil and Mr. Jigson
and as of last week, Alistair! I hope he will be in more books!

Favourite Female Characters: Abby and Briosa

Favourite Villain: Rolf (Though would he be considered a protagonist now?)

Favourite Book: Prisoners of the Pyrenees. Absolutely loved that book! The new characters, the exiting inventions, the struggle between good and evil, the all-around realistic ness of the characters and the struggles they went through, that is the only book (and I read a lot) that I have actually cried reading!

I think it would be good to put one of the characters in a relationship. It would make the stories continue to be realistic with the everyday occurrences of family life. It would really add to he story I think.

Well that was fun! Love your Q&As!

  4. I don’t think that making one of the characters in a relationship would make it have romance. I mean, mostly everybody gets married sometime in their life and its mostly not how it’s portrayed in books. It’s special, but its also not Hollywood like it’s often portrayed. I would defiantly love to see either Phil, or Abby or even Rolf in a relationship (though Abby is a bit young yet:) If you made it proper (here its a bit hard to please everyone:) and simple, yet special, I think it would be a beautiful thing. If there was never someone getting married, they would have to stay virtually their same ages from now on. But whatever the case, I think the books are great! I’ve been reading them since I was 12 and I love them!

P.S. I think it would be interesting if Mr. Jigson would get married, but that would be a real challenge to find someone for him! I haven’t noticed anything between him and Abby actually. I think Mr. Jigson is just a stationary character, doesn’t change much, and Abby is pretty young.

    • I agree I never saw anything between mr. Jackson and Abby either. However I don’t think he should get married as exciting and mysterious as the series has been we don’t need another one about few more kids whose parents were in the agency.😉

  5. Who are your top 2 favorite male characters? Phil and Jigson

    2. Who are your top 2 female characters? Briosa and Abby

    3. Who is your favourite villain? (Miss Verton, Lewis Nickel, Bud Larone, Rolf/escaped convicts, Dainn, Herr Klaus, or someone else?) Miss Verton

    4. Which is your favourite title in the series, and why? Iceland Intrigue because its so intriguing

    5. Should one of the characters be in a relationship/courtship? Who and why? (I’m not promising anything by asking this 😉 I’m genuinely curious! 🙂 ) Phil and someone As i get older i’m more curios about what a biblical courtship would entail. And as Phil gets older i think it would be cool to see the baker family growing out .

  6. Totally agree! I’m getting older too, and as these books have been such an encouragement to me in other areas, I would love for them to be an encouragement to me as I might be going through something like that in a few years.

  7. 1. Who are your top 2 favourite male characters? Jigson and Phil, or Rolf I’m not sure.

    2. Who are your top 2 female characters? Abby and Briosa.

    3. Who is your favourite villain? (Miss Verton, Lewis Nickel, Bud Larone, Rolf/escaped convicts, Dainn, Herr Klaus, or someone else?) Dainn or Rolf I’m not sure which is my favorite.

    4. Which is your favourite title in the series, and why? I think Iceland Intrigue, because it’s set in Iceland.

    5. Should one of the characters be in a relationship/courtship? Who and why? (I’m not promising anything by asking this 😉 I’m genuinely curious! 🙂 ) I’d like to see Jigson in a relationship/courtship, because he would have to let them know everything about him, but not with Abby, she’s too young for him I think.

  8. Great questions!
    1. Jigson and Phil have always been my two favorites, but after Hunting in the Highlands I really like Alistair! Oh, and Rolf is a favorite also. How can I pick just two?! I really want to see more Rolf and Alistair in the future, playing important parts.
    2. Abby and Millie, definitely; Briosa was fun too! Its easy to see through Abby’s viewpoint, and the other two are good supporting characters. The three of them are very different, which makes the stories fun.
    3. Miss Verton and Herr Klaus. I suppose they’re in jail now, but did they ever actually get married?!
    4. Either Riddle of the Ruby Ring or Prisoner of the Pyrenees; they’re my favorite titles and probably favorite books too, along with Hunting in the Highlands.
    5. I would love to see a relationship in the stories. Abby and Alistair would be great! Abby and Rolf would be fun and interesting! With Andy, Briosa, Millie, Fergus, Emily, Phil, the Predzels, Cassidy, and other young characters there ought to be somebody who can have a Biblical courtship that would enhance the story, not ruin it.
Abby and Jigson is an interesting suggestion. But what I love about the Baker books is that you never know what will happen! The thing I enjoy most about these books is the characters, and how distinct and interesting most of them are. Whether its Detective Mortimer, working hard behind the scenes, Mr. and Mrs. Baker, holding down the fort and/or looking for their kids, Jigson, Phil and Abby going through a whirlwind of action and emotion, or supporting characters like Andy, Millie, Alistair, Fergus, Rolf, or Briosa experiencing their own difficulties and assisting the main protagonists in each their own way, each character has their own background, personality, and goals. Keep writing! I’m hoping to see Baker 8!

  9. My favorite female charecters: Phil and Jigson
My favorite female charecters: Abby and Briosa
My favorite villain is Miss Verton
I don’t have a favorite book title because I love them all!!!!
I don’t mind if you want to put a relationship in the books since I love whatever you write!!!!
    Thanks for the Q&A!!!! 😁😁😁😁

  10. This is awesome!
Two favorite male characters: Jigson and Phil
Two favorite Females: Millie and Abby
    Villain: Miss Verton
    Favorite Title:Prisoner of the Pyrenees
    Courtship: Not sure. Maybe Phil?
Thanks Miss Hedgcock! Love this and can not wait for #8 and Twelve Lemons!!!😉

  11. 1. Who are your top 2 favourite male characters?
Rolf and Andy probably but Phil and Jigson are a close second!

    2. Who are your top 2 female characters?
    Um, probably Abby and Briosa…

    3. Who is your favourite villain? (Miss Verton, Lewis Nickel, Bud Larone, Rolf/escaped convicts, Dainn, Herr Klaus, or someone else?)
    ROLF!!

    4. Which is your favourite title in the series, and why?
    Probably Hunting in the Highlands.

    5. Should one of the characters be in a relationship/courtship? Who and why? (I’m not promising anything by asking this 😉 I’m genuinely curious! 🙂 )
Oh you totally should!! Rolf and Abby!!!❤️❤️❤️

  12. A boy at our Church just recently beginning learning to play the cello and now I’m really fascinated by that instrument. Could you maybe incorporate the twins doing some cello playing or something to do with that in to your next book?

  13. 1. Jigson and Rolf (but I like Andy and Alistair a lot too)
    2. Briosa and Millie
    3. Miss Verton
    4. Riddle of the Ruby Ring or The Treacherous Trail
    5. I would not mind seeing a relationship in one of the older characters (Phil and Briosa?), but I think Abby and Andy should remain the same for now.

I can’t wait to find out about Twelve Lemons! I am in love with this series and love sharing my copies with my friends. (I got them all to be fans) Even one who doesn’t enjoy reading loves this series.
Thanks for all the hard work you do, I can’t wait for future books!

  14. Jigson and Phil
    Abby, and Anna
    Rolf.
Hunting In the Highlands , is my favorite so far.
Phil and or Abby (w Jigson 😉) , a biblical courtship in a family setting would neat to read about though it would be fictional. 😊

  15. Like Leah said you can have a relationship with out romance. (I would be pretty disappointed if she added a romance I it to but I’m pretty sure we’re safe from that!!) I agree about Abby and Jigson. They would be an interesting but sweet couple.

  16. I don’t know if it would change Mr. Jigson’s character too much? Somehow it seems strange to see him married. I do think it would be interesting though. I have always thought about Abby and Rolf. That would be something! Or maybe Phil and Briosa? I really wanted to see Phil married! Oh and a weird question I had, where did the name Jigson come from?

  17. 1. Jigson and Phil, with Alastair not far behind.
    2. Abby and Briosa
    3. Definitely Rolf, though I also like Miss Verton.
    4. Hunting in the Highlands
    5. I would say probably not on the courtship part. There are so many different ideas on what a Biblical courtship is. Plus some parents do not like their children, especially younger ones, to read books with romance. If you do decide to do this, please don’t do Jigson. He couldn’t be as involved in all the dangerous parts if he had a family to take care of.
I love your books and can’t wait for the next one!

  18. 1. Jigson and Phil are pretty close to equally my favorite
    2. Abby and Briosa Of course Abby is my favorite, and I love all of the mystery and excitement around Briosa!
    3. Rolf, whether or not he still is a villain 🙂
    4. Hunting in the Highlands This book was so good and I loved it because Scotland and the Macgregors mean so much to me since that’s where my family came from!
    5. I really don’t like the idea of any of the main characters getting married. It would change the stories so much and I love them the way they are! I don’t want Jigson, Phil, or Abby getting married, but maybe someone else would be alright. What about Alistair and Briosa? I hope you keep both of these and they would be quite a pair if they were Christians!

Thank you for letting us put in our ideas and opinions!!

  19. 1, Phil and Jigson hands down!
    2. Abbey and Millie (though Briosa comes close too)
    3. Rolf and Miss Verton
    4. Peril on Providence Island, it has such a great ring to it!
    5. Definitely!!! It would be great to see that happen, so long as it was a courtship from a Biblical viewpoint. It would be the most natural course of events as the characters grew older and entered adulthood. Besides, I would just LOVE to see Jigson and Abbey together (I know she’s probably a bit too young right now, but if Jigson was ever to get married it would just HAVE to be to Abbey! ;D Think of all the times he’s rescued her!) Also, Phil and Millie or Phil and Briosa would make a great couple too, IMO 🙂 But definitely Jigson and Abbey! Pleeeease? ;D

  20. 1. Who are your top 2 favourite male characters? Phil and Jigson (but I also like detective Mortimer)
    2. Who are your top 2 female characters? Abby and Mrs Baker
    3. Who is your favourite villain? (Miss Verton, Lewis Nickel, Bud Larone, Rolf/escaped convicts, Dainn, Herr Klaus, or someone else?) Rolf
    4. Which is your favourite title in the series, and why? Number 5,
    5. Should one of the characters be in a relationship/courtship? Who and why? (I’m not promising anything by asking this 😉 I’m genuinely curious! 🙂 ) I really wouldn’t like Phil getting married or Jigson
but I will be happy with whatever you decide

      • Sorry, only just saw this comment. I guess I feel that it would change their character’s too much. If Jigson got married he wouldn’t be able to go and save the world the whole time, since he would have a wife to care about and even kids! Even if he was to marry someone with a love of adventure, she would still be his priority to keep safe. Don’t you think? I guess Phil could get married, my best friend has been trying to convince me! Do you want them to get married?

  21. Two favorite male characters: Jigson and Fergus (but I also like Phil, Rolf, and Andy)
Two favorite Females: Abby and Briosa
    Villain: Definitely Miss Verton
Favorite Title: Hunting in the Highlands
Courtship: I don’t know. It would be interesting to see Phil in a relationship.

This was so fun! I enjoyed it!

  22. How can I pick? This is SO hard. Probably Phil and Alistair. And Andy. And Jigson.
    Fav females: Briosa and Abby
Villain: Rolf. But technically he is good now so………. Miss Verton
    Favorite Title: The treacherous trail.
Courtship: I don’t know about Abby and Jigson. He is way to old for her. Probably Phil and Briosa. They would be perfect together.
Thank you so much for letting us answer your questions.

      • One of Phil’s best characteristics is that he cares about others and knows what his priorities are. If he got married, he would know he has a wife who needs him, so he can’t rush headlong into saving the world. That’s how he would be less daring.

      • I don’t think he would be. If he was married someone like Briosa who would be right along with him on adventures and such.

  23. Yes! I have a brother just like that! It’s funny a lot of the characters in the Baker books, I have a sibling to match! I think I would be more of a Briosa. Don’t know if thats always a good thing!

    • Yeah, but for some reason I can’t see Briosa tying herself down either. And she’s too headstrong. She wouldn’t submit to a husband…and is she even a Christian???

      • Maybe part of their relationship could be him leaving her to Christ?
I agree that she’s Headstrong but she also has a good sense of morals if he taught her how to use her stubbornness and headstrongness.
Also we haven’t seen a whole lot of her character outside of prisoner of the Pyrenees and prisoner of the Pyrenees was a very hard time for her. She also had a very Hefty mission on her shoulders and so she wasn’t submitting very wellto any ones instructions but I can also understand for the feeling to get done right because she felt responsible.
So now that she has recovered from that and maybe when she’s a Christian if interesting to see how her character turned out I think she could be a great match for Phil but that’s just my personal opinion.

      • It isn’t good to have a relationship with someone who isn’t a Christian in hopes that they’ll become a Christian.
True…but I don’t think Phil would be the person to lead her. Maybe Mrs. Baker? But it isn’t right for a guy to evangelize to a girl. It can lead to wrong things.

  24. 1. Who are your top 2 favorite male characters? – Phil and Jigson
    2. Who are your top 2 female characters? – Abby and Millie
    3. Who is your favorite villain? – Ms. Verton
    4. Which is your favorite title in the series, and why? – Iceland Intrigue. Because the cover design is cool!
    5. Should one of the characters be in a relationship/courtship? Who and why? – I think it would be interesting if Phil and Briosa got into a Biblical relationship. And, Jigson and Abby would be good too!

  25. Nooooo!!! The age difference between Abby and Jigson is way too big!! Please don’t do that!
Oh and Briosa and Andy would be an awesome match!!

  26. Wow thats one I never thought of! But the age difference and the similarity in personality would make it difficult. I don’t totally mind abby and jigson but it would really change his character a lot.

  27. Yes. I mean, having loved everything Miss Hedgcock writes, I know I would like it if she decided to do that, but I do agree with you on that point.

  28. I think Jigson being single is the best idea so far. I cannot imagine Jigson and Abby getting married. That would be AWFUL! If Abby had to marry anyone it should be someone way younger than Jigson. Maybe Alistair. Just not Jigson. PLEASE not Jigson!!!!

      • I liked the thought of Jigson and Abby because of his strong personality, but it would ruin his character for him to get married. I think she should marry Fergus Alisair or Rolf because they all have that strong personality.

      • Jigson and Abby would be very cool, but it would change Jigson’s role in the story. Its a novel idea and would break stereotypes, but it might change the story’s substance if not handled right. Fergus, Alistair, and Rolf each would be perfect for Abby in their own way. All of these four have strong characters and would each be really cool for Abby!

      • Yes those three. Fergus is a little more carefree and has some humour. He knows how to handle a situation and is a good leader. Alistair is strong and determined and doesn’t show his emotions. Like Jigson. And he does have a caring personality. But he also knows what to do in the worst case scenario. You never catch him by surprise and he always has a plan. Just like Alistair is more like Jigson, Rolf is more like Fergus. He is a leader, and he knows how to deal with people. Where as Alistair is more of an introvert, Rolf is more of an extrovert.

At least thats my take on those three. Who, I must say, along with Phil are my favourite characters.

      • I don’t think Jigson is too old for Abby. I mean, I know a couple who are 20 years apart. (Disclaimer. Not advising that!) But I really don’t think that 10 years apart is to young. Its just that, it would really change Jigson too much. But Jigson’s personality is defiantly my favourite. And Alistair’s.

  29. 1. My favorite male characters are Jigson and Andy. Andy is so happy-go-lucky, and what’s not to like about Jigson?
    2. My favorite female characters are Abby (of course) and Mrs. Baker. I mean, how awesome is a Mom who can go through all that and still come out on the right side of things?
    3. I like Garth and Rolf. Mostly because they turn good in the end.
    4. Probably Iceland Intrigue. It was my favorite book, although Hunting in the Highlands… I can’t decide.
    5. Abby and Jigson. Emphatically. I love both characters, and it is quite seemly if they wait for another year or so. Abby is mature for her age, and I think Jigson would love to settle down if he could still have adventures. He absolutely could, look at Mr. and Mrs. Baker!
A courtship is not all romance, and a big part of marriage is being friends with your spouse. I can think of no better husband for Abby than Jigson; whom she trusts, respects, and loves.

  30. Yes Alistair. Or Rolf. I really like Alistair because I think he is really a younger form of Jigson. Their personalities are a lot alike.

    • Yes, Alistair is perfect! Because you’re right, he does seem like a younger version of Jigson. And the moment he appeared in the story, I was thinking, ABBY!!!
And yes, courtship and marriage, NOT romance. Because nearly everyone gets married, but usually not with the “romance” pictured in trashy novels and movies. Someone really should get married in the Baker books!

      • I agree that someone should get married. By the time number 13 comes along Phil will be like 25 or 26, Briosa will be around 22 or 23, Abby and Andy in their early 20s, Rolf somewhere in mid 20s, the Freylads and Alistair in their early 20s and who knows how old Jigson will be! If no-one gets married by that time, it won’t be as realistic. Of all those people, surely SOMEONE will have found SOMEBODY. But I still think Jigson should stay single.

      • Maybe not if their adventures take place days or a month or two later like Iceland Intrigue and Hunting In The Highlands.

      • either Alistair or Rolf for Abby. I can’t think which! I’m glad where not making these decisions! That would be hilarious!

      • Alistair and Rolf are probably the best choices. (By the way, would Rolf still be considered a villain?? Several people here listed him as their favorite villain, and several people said favorite male character, and several people said BOTH! I’m not quite sure what he is, but he’s a great character!!!)

      • Yes, I see what you are saying. I know someone who married someone about 20 years older then her…. But they were only married for about 10 years before he died leaving her a widow at age 40ish.

  31. 1. Who are your top 2 favorite male characters?
Jigson and um, it’s really hard to decided. Probably Andy, with Rolf close behind. And Phil. And Alistair.

    2. Who are your top 2 female characters?
Abby and Milly but I really like Briosa too.
    3. Who is your favorite villain?
Miss Verton is my favorite, but Dainn is the most horrible villain of them all.

    4. Which is your favorite title in the series, and why?
Hunting in the Highlands, The Treacherous Trial, and Iceland Intrigue. My two favorite books are The Treacherous Trial & Prisoners of the Pyrenees, with Hunting in the Highlands and The Summer of Suspense close behind.

    5. Should one of the characters be in a relationship/courtship?
It has been interesting to say in the least to read all the comments about this. I would say emphatically no about Jigson and Abby. I think Jigson should just stay single and maybe Abby could marry, but I think only at the end of #13. It would be strange for all the kids to be married when it is supposed to be The Baker Family Adventures not, The Baker’s Kids and Their Spouses, though I do think that Phil and Briosa might be a good match. My sisters and I were talking about Milly being married to maybe Rolf? I think that would be a cool. I could definitely see Milly getting married!

  32. 2 favorite males: Jigson and Boyd
2 favorite females: Briosa and Cassidy
    favorite villain: Rolf
Favorite title: Prisoner of the Pyrenees
I don’t think anyone should get married. The Baker family books are perfect as they are without any romance in them. Maybe Phil though. He is the oldest and would be most suitable to get married. All the others are still way to young to be pairing them up with older people.

    • Leah, I like the idea of Abby and Rolf too! I have been thinking that ever since number four! And I think Jigson should definitely stay single! If he married Abby it would be a little weird. I mean, they have been alone a lot and hug each other and stuff… It is more like Jigson is an older brother.

      • Yes exactly. I used to think that Jigson might marry Abby, but the more I think about it, the more I am convinced that it wouldn’t work. It really wouldn’t. I really like Rolf and Abby. Their personalities are very well matched. I have been thinking that since book 4 too! Funny:) It must be a girl thing?

  33. 1. Jigson and Phil or Andy.
    2. Abby and Anna. It’s so hard to pick favorites.
    3. Miss Trina Verton
    4. I love the whole series but I’ll say Hunting In The Highlands. I love that Tom got into the adventure, Briosa, Millie, and Rolf are in it, all the stuff about Jigson, and the mystery. I liked the parents being used more. It had a wonderfully written story, was biblical like the others, and even more connected to the other books. It was AWESOME!!!
    5. Jigson needs to stay single. Phil should marry Anna Predzel. She is the kind of lady he should marry. Abby, I’m not sure about. Andy could marry Briosa one day. She is definitely the kind of person he needs.

  34. 1: Rolf and Jigson.
    2: Briosa and Millie.
3: Dainn, there is so mystery surrounding him!
4: I would have to say Prisoner of the Pyrenees, there is so much intrigue in the title!
5: YES! I would like to see Phil in a relationship, maybe with Briosa. I would also like to see Rolf in a relationship, maybe with Anna Predzal? Please not Abby and Jigson! Jigson should say single, and maybe Abby can get married to a nice farm boy, it doesn’t have to be with someone we know.

  35. Hold on, before this goes any farther. Jigson and Abby can NOT get married. Ever. Jigson is more like a father-figure to Abby. Romances with characters more than 10 yrs apart are just weird. And besides, Jigson should stay single. I could see Abby with Alistair, Fergus, or even Rolf but NOT Jigson!!!
