Look who I saw again in Oxford — authors John J. Horn and Douglas Bond!
This was like a mini reunion of the 2016 Oxford Creative Writing Masterclass, led by Mr. Bond, where we invested in learning more about the craft of writing and soaking up the history in this part of England. John and I had our books published when we were in our teens, and had been inspired in our reading and writing journey by Mr. Bond’s excellent historical fiction, so it was great to attend a tour led by him.
After climbing up St. Michael’s Tower, where Cranmer, Latimer, and Ridley were held prisoner before being burned at the stake, Mr. Bond and I discussed writing and being a young Christian writer in today’s world. You can watch the interview on Youtube:
Check out John and Mr. Bond’s new releases — The Mountain Fortress: Escape to the Outback and The Resistance — for exciting, adrenaline-filled adventure!
